Signal Rules

Classification: Open Access · LP-System v0.3

QR Unlock Behavior

QR codes are the primary unlock mechanism for LP-System signals at physical events. Each QR code is linked to a specific signal or set of signals.

  • ·QR codes are scanned at event locations to unlock associated signals.
  • ·Some QR codes are single-use per Observer. Once you have unlocked a signal, scanning the same QR again will not create a duplicate record.
  • ·QR codes may be time-limited or event-specific. Expired codes will not unlock signals.
  • ·Short-code URLs (lupi.link/XXXX) redirect to the unlock flow for specific signals.

Locked Signals

A locked signal is visible in your archive but has not yet been recorded. Locked signals indicate that the signal exists within the LP-System but requires a specific interaction to unlock.

  • ·QR Required: Requires scanning a specific event QR code.
  • ·NFC Required: Requires NFC interaction with a physical object or installation.
  • ·Manual Only: Unlocked by LP-System administrators only. Cannot be self-unlocked.
  • ·Not Unlockable: Signal exists in the archive but is not currently available for unlock. May become available in future events.

Admin-Only Signals

Certain signals are classified as admin-only and cannot be unlocked through standard event interactions. These signals are reserved for:

  • ·Special event rewards granted by LP-System administrators
  • ·Hidden form discoveries triggered by specific system conditions
  • ·Legendary drops activated during special event moments

Admin-only signals appear in the archive with a “ADMIN ONLY” status indicator.

Hidden Forms

Hidden forms are rare signal variants that are not visible in the standard archive view. They may be discovered through:

  • ·Completing a full signal set (Genesis completion)
  • ·Rare trigger conditions during event interactions
  • ·Special QR codes distributed through unofficial channels

Once discovered, hidden forms are permanently added to your archive and become visible in the Hidden filter.

Event Shells

Event shells are signal variants created specifically for individual events. They represent Lupien entities in event-specific forms or contexts.

  • ·Event shells are only available during or shortly after their associated event.
  • ·They are classified separately from Genesis entities and Adaptive shells in the archive.
  • ·Missed event shells may not be available again.

Recorded States

Each signal in your archive has one of the following states:

RECORDEDSignal successfully captured and added to your archive.
DETECTEDSignal has been observed but not yet fully recorded. Partial interaction detected.
LOCKEDSignal exists but requires a specific unlock interaction.
NOT UNLOCKABLESignal is not currently available for unlock.
ADMIN ONLYSignal can only be unlocked by LP-System administrators.

Signal Rarity

Signals are classified by rarity, which affects their visual presentation and archive weight:

COMMONStandard signals available at most events.
UNCOMMONLess frequent signals with slightly elevated rarity.
RARERare signals requiring specific conditions or locations.
LEGENDARYExtremely rare signals. Limited availability.
HIDDENHidden form signals discovered through special conditions.
NULLAnomalous signals outside standard classification.
