Observer Protocol

Classification: Open Access · LP-System v0.3

“An Observer does not merely watch. An Observer records. The signal exists whether or not it is seen — but only through the act of recording does it enter the Archive.”

— LP-System Field Manual, Entry 001

I. What Is an Observer

An Observer is a registered participant in the LP-System — a persistent identity layer that tracks your interactions with the LUPI Miniverse across events, locations, and time.

When you register as an Observer, you are assigned a unique Observer ID. This ID is your permanent identifier within the system. It cannot be changed. Your Observer Handle, rank, and archive are built upon this foundation.

Observers exist at different levels of access, determined by their collection progress, signal count, and system participation. Higher-level Observers gain access to deeper layers of the archive.

II. Recording Signals

Signals are the core unit of the LP-System. A signal represents a Lupien entity — a character, form, or fragment that exists within the LUPI Miniverse.

To record a signal, an Observer must interact with it through a verified event mechanism: QR code scan, NFC interaction, or admin-authorized unlock. Each recorded signal is permanently added to your personal archive.

Signals cannot be transferred between Observers. Each recording is unique to the Observer who captured it.

III. The Archive System

Your Lineage Signal Archive is a persistent record of every signal you have captured. It is organized by:

  • ·Origin Signal: The root Lupien entity (Pobu, Nomo, Maku, Bobo, Umbra, Sprig)
  • ·Record Class: Genesis Entity, Adaptive Shell, Event Shell, or Hidden Form
  • ·Rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Hidden, or Null
  • ·Status: Recorded, Locked, or Detected

The archive is a living document. New signals are added as events occur and the LP-System expands.

IV. Participation Etiquette

  • ·Respect the physical event space and other participants when scanning QR codes or interacting with NFC points.
  • ·Do not share or distribute event QR codes. Each code is designed for single-use or limited-use interaction.
  • ·Do not attempt to unlock signals through unofficial means. The integrity of the archive depends on verified interactions.
  • ·Observer rankings are based on verified collection data. Manipulation of rankings undermines the system for all Observers.

V. Respecting the System

The LP-System is a long-term project. Events, signals, and archive layers will continue to expand over time. Some signals are intentionally rare or time-limited. This scarcity is by design.

Observers who encounter system errors, unexpected behavior, or potential exploits are encouraged to report them to contact.hamcus@gmail.com rather than exploit them.

VI. Observer Levels

Observer level is determined by the number of signals recorded. As your archive grows, your level and title advance. Higher levels unlock access to deeper archive layers and special system features.

Level progression is automatic and based on verified collection data. It cannot be purchased or manually adjusted.
